I have nearly 30 years of clinical experience working as a psychotherapist and psychologist in the United States and in Switzerland.
I offer sessions in English, German and Korean.
Educational and Professional Background
In addition to receiving my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park, I was also a clinical fellow at Harvard Medical School.
I have successfully completed my training as a MBSR teacher at the University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness (CFM). My teachers included Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, Dr. Saki Santorelli and Ms. Florence Meyer-Meleo.
I am also a Certified Master Coach, having received my certificate from The Behavioral Coaching Institute of the New South Wales, Australia.
Prior to moving to Switzerland, I worked as a staff psychologist at the Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
In Switzerland, I worked as an independent psychotherapist, coach and a consulting psychologist to several international schools and companies.
I am an elected member of the following professional organizations: Federation of Swiss Psychologists (FSP), Zurich Cantonal Psychologists Association (Zuepp), the American Psychological Association (APA) and the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP).
I was born in South Korea and grew up in the United States, where I completed my academic education.
I have been living in Switzerland for more than 25 years. I am married and have two children.
